Floral Adornment

Flowers have been the most natural and readily available beauty accessory since the beginning of time. In the late 1800's Queen Victoria made this trend popular once again. In Hawaii it is tradition to wear a flower behind your left ear to show you are single, or behind your right ear to show yo are taken or married. Flowers are still today used in hairstyles from a simple beachy summer hair style to an extravagant bridal up-do. It is tradition to receive a corsage on prom night as a gift from your loved one. Today, women still receive flowers for many reasons, usually as a gift to show appreciation or love. In this day in age however,it is a woman's right to gift herself the great present of natural beauty by showering herself in love and adorning her hair with beautiful flowers.

Every flower has it's own specific secret meaning. To most you will simply look extra stylish with a flower in your hair, but as history tells us, there is a much deeper meaning.
